Here's the video of the garage heater screaming at me last Tuesday.
Sunday, November 25, 2012 - The heater started making weird noises a couple of weeks ago, but Brian thought he'd fixed it.  It worked for a while, then when I heard this horrible noise, I knew it was over.  Apparently, the motor is shot.
Bob just got an email that the new heater has been shipped.  Hopefully, it will be installed this week.  It has been an interesting adventure trying to keep the garage from freezing.  Right now, it's 56 degrees out there.  Oh boy, a heat wave.  brrrr ya later, djb

Here's me and Diane after we spent a day at the beach turning into lobster girls.
Saturday, November 24, 2012 - I came across this picture last week.  I still remember how sunburned we got after being at the beach all day.  But who cares?  We LOVE the beach!!!!  Hopefully, some of it is still there after all the waves have been whacking it day after day.  Hey, I'd better go down and check on it.  Good idea!  see ya later, djb

At 7:46 a.m. (this morning), this is what the view was toward the west.
Wednesday, November 21, 2012 - They said it would be foggy this morning because there's no wind and the dew point and temperature caused this situation.  Seriously, this is what things used to look like when I had cataracts.  WOW!  As of 10 a.m, it's finally starting to lift.  later, djb

This African violet is about 12-13 inches wide - so gorgeous!
Monday, November 12, 2012 - NOT Veterans Day.  Another fake three day federal holiday.  duh!  Veterans Day was yesterday on 11/11.  If it lands on a Saturday or Sunday, it should NOT be celebrated on a day that isn't November 11th.  That's just wrong.
However, in spite of people getting paid for not working, my African violet has been working on growing flowers all summer long.  I only gave it the Epsom salts one time it's been going crazy ever since then.  It look so darn healthy.  And, it's in the west window so it gets sun. hmmm  see ya, djb
